DCA Norman Sarsfield Gala 2026 - Entry Form

On 14-15 March 2026 the Durham City Aquatics Norman Sarsfield gala will take place at Freeman's Quay Durham. We've decided to rename our Valentines gala because well...valentines day is a little bit tricky to get on the calendar so we thought we'd celebrate a historic icon from our club. The format is the same as previous years, there's every single event over the weekend which is very in keeping with what Norman stood for - we will be running the distance events in the pool unlike the time Norman ran a distance event in the River Wear!
Event details:
  • Swim England Level 3 licenced competition (short course, 25m pool), suitable for County and Regional qualifying.
  • Members must have Club Compete Swim England membership
  • Event venue: Freemans Quay, Walkergate, Durham, DH1 1SQ
  • Entry fee - £7.50 per event (£10 per event for 800m and 1500m freestyle events)
  • Spectator fee - TBC
  • Closing date - Friday 30th January 2026, 9pm
  • Suitable for those age 9 and over (age taken as of 14th March 2026)
