This is always a favourite with members; a great opportunity to swim in a fantastic championship arena (Ponds Forge Sheffield), set some County and Regional Championship qualifying times and socialise for members and families with an informal dinner out (COSMO, Sheffield) for those taking the opportunity to make a full weekend of it. In summary, both events are short course (25m pool) events, open to all swimmers age 9 and over. There is no lower qualifying time, so this is truly open to all members. Members must be registered with Swim England for Club Compete membership. If you are unsure whether you have this, or need to upgrade, this can be done by emailed nasc@nasc.co.uk.
Rotherham Metro A and B Grade Gala
This is a short course event, held on Saturday 20th September at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield. This event is held over two sessions, a morning session starting at 8am , and an afternoon session starting at approx. 1pm.
A quick turnaround is required on the NASC deadline for entries for this event, Sunday 29th June @ 9pm, as entries are on a first come, first served basis.
This gala is suitable for all swimmers aged 9 years and over. Swimmers must have Club Compete Swim England membership.

City of Sheffield Swim Squad (COSSS) Teaspoon Gala
This is a short course event, held on Sunday 21st September at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield.
A quick turnaround is required on the NASC deadline for entries for this event, Sunday 29th June @ 9pm, as entries are on a first come, first served basis.
This event is held over two sessions, a morning session starting at 7:55am , and an afternoon session starting at approx. 12:30pm (TBC).
This gala is suitable for all swimmers aged 9 years and over. Swimmers must have Club Compete Swim England membership.

Looking at Staying overnight?
There are many hotels available. The Premier Inn on Angel Street is a favourite of the club with a number of swimmers choosing to stay here. Currently prices for the weekend, Friday and Saturday night are £136 on an advance rate for a family room. This is also centrally located for falling out of bed and making your way to the pool with Ponds Forge being a 2 min walk away.
