Final Event Info, Parking and Spectators for the Hambleton Championships

Firstly, thank you for entering the Hambleton championships! It’s going to be a busy, but great experience for all involved!

REMINDER – no training Sunday 14th November to facilitate these championships

All of our centres have spectator limits (not related to C19) – at BLC this is 80. Therefor to ensure that everyone who wants to watch can we must insist the following

  • If you are only dropping off and picking up, this is encouraged. Live results and live scoreboards will be pushed out for the event.
  • One spectator per swimmer is the limit
  • If you can assist with timekeeping or another role please speak to your club competition secretary who can pass details to NASC
  • Because of this there is no admission charge

Entry checking will be available at lunch time today and will run until 12:15pm tomorrow. Entry checking will reopen for weekend 2 on Monday morning.

We have worked with the local primary school (next door to the centre) who are happy for us to use their car park as an overflow space. This, as with any other car parking is at the owners risk.

Medals for weekend 1&2 will be distributed at weekend 2. This is simply to allow us to focus on getting through events as this meet is a new event for all of us!

We would kindly request that all team managers/coaches ensure that their areas on poolside are left immaculate. This really will help with the quick exit from the centre for all volunteers

Thank you in advance!
