NASC Training Hours from 14th November 2022

We know you get a lot of emails from us, but this is an important one so please take the time to read it!

The leisure centre informed us, following its recent consultation, that it’ll be changing its opening hours. As a result, this now means we need to shuffle training times from 14th November 2022. These new hours are part of a wider move by Hambleton district council to make efficiencies. These changes only impact on operations from Northallerton Leisure Centre.

We’ve spent a long time juggling with the new timetable to ensure we can maintain and improve upon current pool and dry-side provision.

We believe our proposed changes actually offer the club a smarter pool time layout, bringing us inline or ahead of many of our ‘competitors’ in the region.

Please see the attached PDF for a breakdown in training hours for the whole club. For many squads’ changes are minimal and in fact offer more pool time and flexibility in terms of offer.

We hope that you welcome these changes as the coaching team have done. Should anyone need to speak to a member of the club committee please respond to this email or email nasc@nasc.co.uk directly.

There are no planned changes to fees as part of this change in training time structure, however as part of our ongoing governance of the club we will continue to review hire costs and associated expenses of running the club leading up to the AGM in November (date and details to follow).

The leisure centre will be releasing their updates activity timetables in due course.

Kind Regards,

NASC Committee and Coaching Team
