We’re excited to confirm that Northallerton ASC will be attending the Durham City Aquatics Norman Sarsfield Gala at the Freeman’s Quay Leisure Centre, Durham in March 2026. Given how well-received their Summer Sprints meet has been in prior years (which we also plan on attending in May), this promises to be another great event in a wonderful facility with fantastic hosts.

Event Type: Short Course (25m), Swim England Level 3 Licensed (ideal for County and Regional qualifying times)

Events available: 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800/1500m events across various strokes (refer to Programme of Events)

Event Dates: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March 2026
- Age: 9+ (age as of 14th March 2026)

There are 4 sessions over the 2 day event, please check the programme of events carefully when entering events if you only plan on attending certain sessions.

Entry fee: £7.50 per event (£10 per event for 800m and 1500m freestyle events)

- Qualifying Times: No lower limit, however there is an upper limit (must not have swam faster than the times posted)
This is a fantastic opportunity to compete at a friendly and well-run gala, ideal for first timers or seasoned open gala swimmers — let’s make it a strong NASC turnout!
